Porsche began in 1931 when engineer Ferdinand Porsche founded a small design office in Germany. The company originally created innovative automotive projects for other brands. After World War Two, Ferdinand’s son Ferry Porsche dreamed of building a unique sports car carrying the family name. In 1948 the first model, the Porsche 356, appeared and quickly became famous for speed, elegance, and engineering excellence. Over decades Porsche grew into a global symbol of performance, luxury, and timeless automotive passion worldwide legend.
